True wealth is built when you spend less than you make, and to do that, you need to be aware of your spending.Tracking your expenses involves identifying your expenditures throughout the month. It’s an essential activity that you should ideally do every day throughout the month.
But, isn’t it a tedious job to remember the daily expenses and write it in a notebook for the future reference? It’s very usual that we may even forget our daily expenses while we reach home. Couldn’t there be an easy method to record the expense? Can we get rid of scribbling?
Of Course, WE CAN! Team D-dev is coming up with a revolutionary Web application that allows you to record your expenses on the same day that you incur them. We are bringing a solution that can ease your work and you don’t have to eat almonds to remember it. One can use it at double A’s i.e. Anytime and Anywhere.
Easy to use in 3 steps:-
- Create an account on our website. Already registered? Then just Login at ease.
- Save your daily expenses in just seconds where you can even see your last five recent expenses categorised properly into tables.
- Welcome to your world and manage your money as you will get access to the large storage area onto our server.
How will it be categorised?
- Inputing the amount spent.
- Name of what you have spent on.
- Calculating the expense.
- Updation of data.
- Backing up on a regular basis.
Safe Developers at backend?
We are a team of four students from the Computer Science Department from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri, currently working in the web development area and eager towards solving the real life problem of the world and easily completing daily tasks through our advanced knowledge.
What are we building on?
We are using Django web framework as its backend, the app will be using simple HTML and CSS for its styling. The entry made by the user will be passed to the Django in the backend which will further manage the backend and store the user’s data in the default SQL database.
At the end of each month, review the expenses you tracked to compare what you spent versus what you planned to spend according to your budget.
Our motto is — Track, Compare and Save.
The source code is going to be available on the GitHub for the developers to contribute and help the app grow.
